Frontier, please help

I have an idea how frontier and everyone here can help with the rescue operations of and trapped and injured animals in the current Australian fires.

If Frontier plan to release an Australian animal pack, now is the time to do it, frontier could help by releasing two versions of the pack. The planned version and an additional donation pack which would be a couple of pounds more expensive but with the extra couple of pounds donated to Australian animal rescue charities. To make more people buy the donation pack frontier could even throw in an extra memorial statue for donators to place in their zoos.

This idea would cost frontier nothing but a statue, and with 2 packs released people have a choice if they want to donate, I believe it could really help the animals in need. Please consider it frontier!

Considering the fires and how many animals have died it would be a great time to release an Australian DLC. What would be even more amazing is if they set up a way that we could pay extra as a donation (pick an amount from a dropdown menu or something) and have 100% of that donation go to the...

YES, for crying out loud. In all honesty, the more this thread come up, the more it feels like players are using the fires to their advantage to DEMAND an australian dlc NOW.
I already stated my opinion on how I feel about Frontier getting involved with the current situation, what I find would be awesome and what would feel like bad taste. I won't repeat that here, but say one thing: DLCs take time! Making quality content takes time. You don't just snip your fingers because it fits the daily news. IF we get an australian dlc in thenear future, like in the next three month, it was already been indevelopement before the fires.

And we all hope that the fires will be over by the time Frontier releases ANY other DLC, because this will as well take month from now, probably.

If you can donate, donate. Don't wait on someone else to do it for you and don't wait for something to get for it. Donate the amount you'd pay for such a dlc now and all the money will go to the cause you choose.

Wow, didn't expect such nasty responses! FYI, I couldn't care less about the dlc, I'm holding out for a sealife dlc. But I suppose you've got an equally rude opinion on that too. Well I'm glad my post has at least made a little person with feel important. Great job at being the new unofficial spokesperson for frontier, there's always one I suppose.

Before this thread will be closed, I'll just say here that I would gladly buy such a pack, and I believe many others would as well. I gives people an excellent incentive to kill 2 birds with one stone. They get something nice for themselves AND they contribute to a greater cause, which is basic fundraising logic. It works. Most people are not saints.

Just to add and explain my comment.

I don't think its rude or something like that.

If frontier would do such a thing I would definitely think it would be a very positive act. But I don't think they are obliged to do so. And I fully understand that is not your intention or mindset.

It's something that needs to happen out of itself and not by encouraging them to do so.

I would definitely buy it if it would support such a case, but if I have a bad taste about what is happening out there which is truly heart-breaking (along with everything else bad that is currently happening in this world), I'd pull my wallet anyways even if it is the smallest amount. Everything helps.
