Frontier! Please provide a Pixel Density setting 'In Game'

Those with a Rift are enjoying substantial image improvement by tweaking the PixelDensity setting via the Oculus SDK tool. I wonder whether Vive users might also benefit if there was a PixelDensity setting available to them.

I read elsewhere, someone saying that ED used to have a PixelDensity setting in the graphics menu, but it has since been removed.

It would be mighty nice if the developers would please put it back :)

The PixelDensity setting is a low level way to enhance the clarity of the VR image by overscaling the image before other processes are applied and then scaling back down. In the case of the Rift with the SDKtool, it occurs at driver level and is thus very efficient, and is separate to AA or SS.

Oculus SDK override is markedly better in quality. +1 to the OP's request. Would love to see an in-game option for this override.

Yes, please!!!

Got my MSI 1080 X yesterday. Settings Pixel Density with the Oculus Debug Tool doesn't seem to work for me. I don't see any difference with different settings.
Since everybody raves about the improvement of this, I'd really like to get it through game options instead of using outside tools.

I did use Supersampling with my 970 and DK2 through the nvidia driver, which improved text a lot back then.
