Frontier Points

So I went for the Horizons edition and also bought 2500 frontier points. A bit of dumb thing to do as I didn’t really know what they were for but its something I always do in games so figured id jump straight in.

I didn’t have any issues with the purchase or store technical faults that im reading. It seems to help if you buy, then relaunch the game and it seems to recheck the server or something for you and viola, youre new stuff is there.

Im quite impressed theres a lot of (mostly cosmetic) things to buy but I don’t want to waste them.

I fully intend that my path will be that of a trader and I want to upgrade to whatever the best cargo type ship is. I therefore don’t want to waste points on making my sidewinder look bright pink or my cmder fitted out in a yellow with black spot flight suit.

Bobble heads look quite funny but again, not sure if im best just sitting on the points till I get my ‘target’ ship.

Any thoughts

Weird,

I could not buy any points at all last night, thought it was just store not updating.

UK based, so will try again tonight and if not raise a ticket.

IF you want cosmetics, i recomend getting name plates (the ID and if your a trader, the "trader" name plates

Yeah, UK based too. Didn't have any issues. I actually went into PSN store, game page, add ons and bought horizons and 2500 points. Started the game and bingo, everything was there.

Got trader name plates and the free decal pack.

There seems to be a bad link in game. Buy the Points directly in the PSN Store and it will work! But be careful there seems to be more troubles with that. I bought a cart full of stuff last night and the only thing that happened is that I am now 1940 points short for nothing. Maybe it is not a good idea to buy more then one item at a time....

I do remember seeing in the frontier store that it says 'there may be a delay before the items appear in game'. My trade plates appeared after a quick relog but the other stuff hasn't appeared yet.

I fear this is a more general Problem because the purchase does not show on my Frontier Account History as well
