Frontier should unban the slavers or ban griefers AND themselves for player exploitation

First off, slavery is emergent gameplay and a good use of carriers. Period.
The slavers have indeed been banned for breaching the arbitrary terms of conduct, but I think griefers who kill players for no reason other than to farm metaphorical salt have broken this rule too, as well as Frontier, when they have deceived us into thinking we could make the Gnosis jump. And only cancelled it at the latest possible moment, then assaulting the Gnosis with the most powerful Thargoid variant, costing some commanders hundreds of millions of credits in damages.
ENFORCE YOUR TOS EQUALLY OR DON'T ENFORCE IT AT ALL.
Or better yet, change your rules so suit the majority's opinion.
