Frontier / Steam question

I realize that a console player cannot play with a pc player or visa versa; But can a steam player play with a Frontier player, after all both are on pc's?

Yes as Steam just adds an overlay to the PC game that you purchased,. Steam can be disabled and one can even manually start the EDLaunch file in the Stream folder to start the game. Either way they all go to the same account on the ED servers.

Sorry, but the ability to run Frontier's Launcher from steam has been nerfed since April 25 this year.
