News Frontier Store: Price Changes

You may have seen our previous post regarding the Frontier Store, or perhaps experienced the downtime when visiting the store this morning.

We're happy to inform you that it's now back again! The downtime was to allow us to make some permanent price reductions to a selection of our Elite Dangerous game extras. These updated prices will reflect how similar items will priced be in future.

Do I remember things right and paint job packs went from 6€ to 3.50€? Damn you, that's getting below the pain threshold, my precious money!

Splendid and much appreciated. And by way of celebration, you've added a few more dozen designs? a basic ship colour selector? Ability to add JPEGS' as noseart?

Just a thought like....

Will the Tactical Paint Pack and Vibrant Paint Pack get a redux? they have some wierd issues around the edges on ships.

Could you consider put back on sale Chrome and Gold skin for every ship ? It would be nice !

That's good and I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate it, but it doesn't fix the fact that the current pack model isn't very good and that we still don't have any kind of basic visual customisation available with the game.

Good to see some movement there! Possible to list what changes were made for what items?
Please feel fancy to play around with the store items more often!

Are you logged in? I'm not logged in to the site - I wonder if that makes a difference (so all not-logged-in users are considered as one).

I see the same behaviour on Chrome as on Edge - just tested it.

Ship kits need to come down to £5 though... There are simply not enough component options to warrant an £8 price tag.
