Frontier, you've seen the last of my money

What do I do with my $1.5 billion quick and ready cash, that’s the question!
With my 8 Engineered warships and 2 swappable exploration builds.
What’s next specifically due to 3.0’s release.
True that. Credits can still be earned but then what. We need more avenues for emergent gameplay or a hell of an increase in the quality of the scripted gameplay- CG’s need more character, maybe some pvp aspect.
Maybe a new or lost civilization across the galaxy to trade and obtain new tech, ships, knowledge,
A new alien race that
Is not ineffable Mushrooms, however realistic that’s a dead end for interactive gameplay.
Mushrooms, snails, molds, Protozoa, worms leeches- yup no mission board commentary there.
Really even a borg like machine race would do as a source of plot and conflict.
Maybe the Thargoids will c0me through will those Escape pods they’re harvesting.
But we can’t just show up to a dead abandoned set piece with the smoking aftermath and two paragraphs of text on an answering machine.
1 year of development is a lot when the engine is basically fully functioning.
Why so little content, maybe there’s a huge surprise coming, a good, one I mean.

And you are unfamiliar with what button to press to quote posts, apparently.

Could you perhaps, maybe, try to be the least bit honest? Where did I say anything about exploits?

Would you like a screenshot of the kind of crap I'm getting in my boom state system with maxed rep? That is the advice I constantly hear, and it does. not. work.

What does "reasonable" mean in this instance? Something with an insane jump range so I can mindlessly press J for hours on one of these mind-numbing long hauls that I keep getting propositioned for?

What rating is that Anaconda, and how many hours have the players in question spent at the engineer roulette table? Most? Citation badly needed.

What game are you even playing? Because it's nothing like the one I am.

I'm trying to process why anyone would actually want to help someone with your attitude.

I sure as hell don't.

Citations? Seriously?

A single unengineered Vulture can take on any post 2.1 AI nerf Anaconda with a pair of large pulse lasers or better, a large beam and a cannon.

But you’re trying to shift the argument away from the actual point of this thread that stated (and I quote) “ZERO” ways of making money.

As for my honesty, I honestly do think you are bitter that the Pax missions were removed. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, but I’m not being dishonest.

I don’t think honest quite means what you think it means.

Your defensive to the point of aggressive attitude is making a positive outcome from this thread less and less likely.

More chill needed.

I've been playing this game for years. I'm not even Elite in anything, but I'm getting pretty dang close in Trading. I'm sitting at 860mil in total assets. I take this game at my own pace. I don't chance the newest exploit. I do the kind of things I want to, when I want to. I take breaks. Oh I take a lot of breaks. But I come back and the game never feels like work.

My advice to you; don't chase the most broken thing then be angry when it's gone. Play how you want when you want. Play in moderation. Have fun. That's what games are for, and yes, ED is a game.

Had an interesting evening. Been building lots of rep with a few factions in just one system for a few days. Took on a few salvage missions. They're only paying 300K-600K but... I earned 5 million in two or three hours just from the ships sent after me. New play style for me although I've been here since beta. Really enjoying it. 5 million might not be an unbalanced passenger mega-total and I'm sure there are more credit profitable ways to spend a couple of hours but the enjoyment was/is priceless.

Love this game.

Conflict zones and Haz Res sites are more fun anyway.

Passenger missions are... well... bland and boring. Except for maybe trying to land on planet bases with known criminals.

I think I passed you on the way out of the station earlier today....

There are tons of ways to make money! I've reset my alternate commander so many times because I thought I was earning money to dang fast!

This :)

I think part of the problem is a generation or so of games with the Hero path, where you have a single story, a progression in character leading up to some intense climaxes and then... it's done. *

It drives the completionists nuts. There's no beginning nor end. They aren't the Hero; they are space dust. They do All The Important Things, then are, "wut" *~boooiiinnnnggggg~*

*or, like me, you just reloaded Oblivion with heavy mods totalling at least twice the size of the original game because you just bought a better videocard :)

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
This is not a productive discussion. All I can see are trolling, sniping, and salt.

Closing.
