Frontier?

I would like to know something that I noticed. I noticed something I saw with Frontier writing comments for in the Planet zoo forum for General News and Announcements and Discussions and Your Creations and in Steam but never with the animals in the Planet zoo forum. So I ask if it's possible or not for Frontier to write comments in the animal forum. For example write a comment. Here is a good idea. Or there are no rodents in the game it's a good idea for a future DLC. Please. 🧡😊

Tell me what you think?

Given that the threads in the animals and wishlist are mostly about animals we want, it would be a bit strange for Frontier Development to post comments in there - they're welcome too of course, but if they told us what animal or animal ideas they want to see in the game, they'd kind of give away ideas they are working on, I'd think. I mean, if they came on that forum and asked "Does anyone realize there's no rodents in the game?" that would lead to a huge speculation and even worse expectation, that we're getting rodents soon. And if we didn't, it could really turn against them, even if it was mostly the community hyping it up themselves.

Now if they wanted to be in that forum posting animals facts or pictures about the animals we do have in the game, that's a nice idea. It's harder to speculate when the topic is about things we already have in game.

I love seeing CMs answering in threads or taking part in fun threads like "What did you do in Planet Zoo today?". Commenting pn builds, maybe give advices that kind of stuff, when they find the time. Because that would mean interacting with the community. I would also love to see them address bugs more, so that we know what / what is not being looked into currently etc.

But commenting on animal wishlists would, as @jcp011c stated perfectly, be seen as "hints" or simly biased. We once had a forum member who, for whatever reason, thought the Devs would be "dog people" and only give "dog people" what they want. It was abstruse to say the least. Now imagening a CM actually support animals by their personal preference... oh dear.

I'll give an example. If I were a CM, I would probably applaud animal wishlists with more otter species, cats, canines and monkeys a lot, but birds and fish... eh, not so much. I'm just not fond of birds. But because I were a CM, players would absolutely call me a witch and be sure, that I, a CM with no power over development whatsoever, would be the reasonst we do not get flying birds yet.
