Frontier's new game?

I just read the rolling stones magazine interview with David Braben and he mentioned that FD was working on a new licenced game. If anyone has heard anything or has any ideas id like to know as much about it as I can ;)

That is all we know.

I expect it is Jurassic Park, as that would fit in with FD history and their simulation slant of games.

That would be my guess too.

Unless it's a big Star Wars MP spaceship game, where they visibly have nearly all of the elements already in place.

I don't see FD making another game that directly competes with their current game. FD have done zoo park games before, so managing a Jurassic Park would be a large IP and would be right in line with how they are billing themselves as reinventing simulation games.

That's a good guess.
Though I wouldn't be interested in it, I hope it's a success.
More money in the FD coffers is good for all their games.

Dune..

Just my 2c. ;)

Of all the old classics they're re-booting (as the kids say these days) this is one I can really get behind.
A scale model of Arrakis, with worms and storms and all the hardware. Play Fremen or Harkonnen...it would be sweeter then spice candy.

With the globally-renown IP franchise, an apparently Brooks leaked it was a British film franchise according to other threads. The licensing to make games based on James Bond is said to reverted back to Ian Fleming estate.
Given that they were discussing it with an American film studio we are pretty much down to Harry Potter.

Cambridge News first mention Harry Potter when they first covered the story.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.

Precisely. And EA wouldn't be too happy to share the Star Wars franchise with anyone else.
