I'd like to share some of my findings whilst hunting ELW's near the core.
What with the new pay-outs, I believe that ELW's are worth more than Neutron farming (even when already discovered by AN other), and they're also less dangerous!
A massive thanks goes out to Chiggy Vonrictofen for inspiring me to look for ELW's in the first place, and for being my wingman as we systematically searched adjacent sub sectors near the core for ELW's. I've never had so much fun playing Elite Dangerous, and doubt I will again.
Also I'd like to thank Marx for his unbelievable dedication in maintaining the ELW list ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/168287-List-of-Earth-like-worlds-v2 ) amongst all the other stuff he does, and also everyone else on the ELW list.
Between us, Chiggy and myself have discovered over 500 ELW's in a 160 x 160 ly area near the core. Look on EDDB for Zunou GS-B D13-* and Zunou IN-B D13* and search for ELW's and you'll see what I mean.
This first tour is just a short one, but is composed of systems mostly containing at least 2 ELW's, the two exceptions being 1 system with a ringed ELW, and 1 with an ELW orbiting an He/Be star which is a very rare find indeed.
I've tried to make each system in the list within 1 jump of the next for a ship that has a decent exploration jump range (maximum jumps between systems are around 50 light years).
FROST'S LUXURY ZUNOU ELW TOUR
Starting system: ZUNOU GS-B D13-1472 (binary ELW's)
1st jump (40.57 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13 4681 (non binary ELW pair)
2nd jump (52.1 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13-2929 (binary ELW's)
3rd jump (approx. 15 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13-7507 (non binary pair).
4th jump (approx. 30 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13-4594 (binary ELW's)
5th Jump (28.27 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13-924 (binary ELW's)
6th jump (50.22 LY) to:
ZUNOU GS-B D13-595 (ringed ELW)
Final jump (approx. 50 LY) to:
