Hey guys just an idea since we have a bunch of stuff to make a market. The big cats use pumpkin for enrichment and elephants have watermelon. Maybe some plants would be a great addition let’s say your zoo believes in keeping costs down by growing their own food just hypothetically not a feature I’d want in game necessarily.

It would be great to be able to reduce Food Costs for Herbivores and Omnivores trough some kind of Garden or Greenhouse
@Urufu1997 your right if implemented in game it would be great. If not it would still be nice to have.
Many zoos do have their own gardens to grow fruits and veges for certain species, but zoo nutrition of often too important to leave to chance. Importing the foodstuffs into the zoo is usually better in the long run because at least then certification suggests the food is high in the vitamins and minerals the animals need.
Would also be a great idea for an educational garden and for some non-zoo side projects. My current second project wpuld profit from it, really.

I really don't think we need more management in-game. The management aspect is already pretty hands-on, adding gardening to it seems like overkill.
Well it would be optional. Do additional management and pay less for reduced feeding costs.
There could also be a way to automatize it, via research or something.
Yeah I agree plus it would take time away from planned content for the game. I really just basically suggested it for hypothetical use. I prefer sandbox mode so the garden type foilage would be great for show purposes and maybe a educational storyline for guests to see the zoo grows their own foods for herbivores and omnivores.
