FSD Indictor info

So I'm thinking of getting into bounty hunting and noticed different classes and grades of Indictors. How does increasing the class as well as increasing the grade affect it? Do I need certain class for certain sized ships? Also is there a level that is "good enough" and buying a more expensive one isn't as worth it? There seems to be little info on this. Thx!

Like everyone else in this game, nothing is really clear.

Bigger = better most often really.

I want to think I read a post at some point from the Devs that indicated that there is a relationship between the FSD and the interdictors, based on grade/class. The more expensive interdictors are harder to evade if you have a cheap FSD, for example, and easier to evade if your FSD is of better 'quality' than the interdictor module.

Have a look at ed shipyard and select the different classes and you can see the differences ----power draw -----weight -----range. If you are in a maxed out viper power draw is important. Maybe you would like to interdict at 4 km instead of 2.5., you might be trying to keep the weight of your ship down for better jump range it all depends on your needs
