FSD Injection/route planning

I cant get the route planner to work when I set the map to include a 100% injection increase?
I'm trying to go from Lave to Esuseku, says its around 200odd ly but when I try to plot the route its telling my it exceeds maximum range
I'm on Xbox, I did take a screenshot last night but it's not uploads

I think you have to manually use the FSD injection before jumping. This is not automated by the route plotter.

yea I get that, but the planner doesn't take into account I want to use a booster even though there is an option for it to be included in the calculation
so without route planner says its 7 jumps, I tick the box to include injection and slide the bar to 100% and the planner gives me a message saying its out of maximum range

but its too far for a single jump, I was hoping the route planner would take into account the injection and plot a 3 jump route

No, the FSD selection button and slider allows you to see the furthest you can jump with a given FSD injection so you can plot the next jump to the max range of the injection, it sets the lines that appear on the galmap, just as selecting economical and fastest change the line settings, you still have to plot the injected FSD jump manually.

you still have to check one of the boxes above, economical or fastest.
the fsd boost is just if you are going to use jump synthesis.

this is what I was hoping for, but I set fastest and when I hit the boost option it deletes the "fastest" one, it only lets me pick 1
so I either plot an automatic route (7 jumps) or manually find/jump to systems after each jump (3 jumps)

Yes you can only select one option, economical, fastest or injected, that's how it's supposed to work. That selection of 3 options tells the galmap how to measure the route, either using many short jumps to preserve fuel, many long jumps to get there faster, or a jump using injection, and since you can only do 1 jump at a time using injection it removes the other plotted route.

You can't mix economical / fastest / injection in the route planner, it's one only.

to choose the boost, you must have synthesized fsd before or have filled in the tank in a neutron star,

only then you can draw a route with the boost option.

and I'm assuming you cant stack injections? even though it alloys you to synthesize more than 1 at a time
i.e. last night I synthesized 4 times assuming the route planner would take that into account, but I'm guessing now when I jump once will have to re synthesize for the second (losing the remaining 3 synths)

You aren't losing 3 synths, you never had them, each synth replaces the previous one, so you only ever had one at any time.
