FSD questions

Hi,

I have a couple of questions in regards to the FSD, specifically the 5B, 5A and the 4E.

1. When submitting to an interdiction, how long does it take for the FSD to cool down before I can engage supercruise/hyperspace?
2. If there is a space station, sun, planet or player space ship in the immediate vicinity, does the FSD take longer to cool down or to be engaged? If so, what is the multiplying factor?
3. Can I purchase modules that will decrease the cool down or that will decrease the amount of time to engage the FSD?
4. Where can I not engage the FSD?

1: Less than 10 seconds. Boost Boost Jump.
2: Takes longer to engage, or won't engage. Even if a larger ship is nearby. It is referred to as "mass-lock", you should look it up.
3: No, Better FSD increases jump range (Ship type is more important here, though), so if you goto Galaxy Map, Navigation tab, and select "fastest route", you can hop across all of populated space in 6 or 7 jumps. No way to increase efficiency other than losing weight.
4: Hardpoints out, or inside of a hangar. That's about it!

1. Does the FSD charge up time have any reference to how I distribute my ship's SYS, ENG, WEP? For example, if I place have 4 in SYS, 2 in ENG and 0 in WEP, does the FSD charge time take just as long as if I have 4 in ENG?
2. Does the mass of my ship have any reference to how long the FSD charge time is? For example, if I have a Lakon Type 7 with 200 t of cargo, is the FSD charge time the same as a Lakon Type 6 with 100 t of cargo?
