Fsd upgrade.

I have a lvl 5 upgrade on my Fsd, just went to upgrade again to see if I can get a better outcome, but it won't let me apply new upgrade. What am I doing wrong?

I presume that you have converted it to the new module format so that it is no longer grandfathered?

Post a screenshot of the engineer screen. I've been converting a bunch of G5 FSD upgrades this morning, no issues, straight to five, then max it out around 60+ optimal mass.
 
Beyond 3.0 FSD G5 increased range is maxed out at 55 percent. Going for more is just wasting materials for that shiny new Chieftain you are going to buy.
 
Ok, I thought you could just keep generating new upgrades to a point, and overide the one you have. Just trying to increase jump range. Thankyou for replying 07.
 
The Mass manager experimental will push that past 55%

Per the Beta testing and the statistics Frontier posted on the Forum I think that you are wrong. But I and many others would LOVE for you to prove me wrong! Post your 60 percent FSD in Beyond 3.0 :)

It's 55% for the base blueprint, and then another 4% on top of that with one of the Experimental Effects.
 
60.4% in my T10 .... level 5 + mass manager

That only gives me 36 lyrs jump range, even with a light explorer build, because (I assume) the ship is so heavy.
