FSS: change "adaptive zoom failed" fade out timing or placement

At the moment if you are using the FSS and misclick or are a litte wrong tuned you get a big red message "adaptive zoom failed" overriding the whole info area in the upper right and takes six seconds to fade out. At this time many informations like "scanned bodies", "signal detected" and material and geological information are not visible.

There is no reason this message has to be this big and long, especially because the message is already shown inside the scanner log under the info area in red

Best would be a option to turn it off. Or change the location so it dont block useful scanner data.

Agreed - it doesn't have to be in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS.
It isn't needed at all; just don't zoom in. We get it. Thanks.

I really hope that Frontier don't think of these kinds of UI intrusions as being user friendly or more "accessible". I am a big advocate for their initiative towards improving the new player experience, but I worry that it's going to come in the form of more misguided pop-up windows and visual clutter, which (1) won't help new players, and (2) will eventually be the reason I stop playing the game forever.

Most of the UI/UX overhaul in the last update missed the mark, in my opinion. There were a lot of superfluous bells and whistles but the most confusing, counterintuitive, and/or redundant parts of the old UI were left the same. I am hopeful but unfortunately extremely pessimistic about what the future holds for Elite and I think whatever happens with this next seemingly minor update is going to speak volumes about the team's design chops and their ability to turn all the fragmented pieces of Elite into a cohesive unified GAME after all this time.

This coming non-season "season" is really about crossing the T's and dotting the I's. There's no big ambitious tentpole features coming so there's not a lot of excuses left to leave longstanding useability issues unaddressed.

Fingers crossed.

What's wrong with you people? This is a very important message! I want it bigger, bolder, brighter, and lasting much longer!

Next thing you'll be asking for is the removal of asteroid belt notifications... I just don't understand you lot.

So, ED devs just don't give a f.. attention to it since 2019, nice. Bad there is even no mods to fix this big red useless information
