FTB - Fluffy Teddy Bear?

Now, I may be confusing myself, what with all the acronyms floating around, but . . .

There I was, stuck on a planet, with no thrusters to take off. They just refused to enable.
So I thought I'd try the reboot/repair option from the right panel.
A whole bunch of text scrolled past on the info panel, including "Enabling FTB" & "FTB Enabled"

Now, is this an homage to Hex's Fluffy Teddy Bear in Pratchett's Hogfather - or am I going senile?

I must admit, thought it was the former, and it really cracked me up. :)
The thought of my Asp refusing to take off without its teddy had me rolling around the floor.
Maybe I'll find it in a POI? What's the radar signature for a soft toy?

I think we need a FTB bobble head.

Also maybe look for the GBL as part of the launch procedure. Surely the Great Big Lever plays a role.

Exactly what I thought myself. You need to use the GBL in order to start the, what I like to call,
going-really-fast-in-one-direction-by-expelling-gases-rapidly-out-the-other-end-machine.

Edit: Of course, should you happen to fly one made by Bloody Johnson, all bets are off!!

FTB is the techno add-on going live with Horizons, which is there for all players with a reasonably good taste in music. I believe it's named after Sandstorm's song "Feel The Beat".
