FTL Travel Hyperdrive unique each jump?

This video from e3 has me wondering, the jump shows the player going past nebula/stars and other things, is this unique to the position this player is at and to where he is traveling too? or is this a pre-recorded special effect that is the same each jump?

Currently every jump seems to be similar / the same. But FD has said that most of this is still place holder. Don't know what they plan to do with it.

I would like to see the actual star moving around as I jump. Even if it will be a very small change.
They could add some sort of 'fluffy' effect to somehow enhance the view, but I would rather feel like I'm still in the universe instead of shooting down a pipe full of sparkly colors.

Well it shows stars and nebulas from what I can tell, so that's ok. But they need to be the actual ones you are flying past (fly-by-wire) rather then some random or scripted thing, otherwise we will notice very quickly and it will break immersion quite a lot.

I do believe Independence War 2 had one of the best FTL systems around, however it seems Elite is simulating this with the cruise speed thing. I might post this question to the man and see if he has a answer.
