Howdy mates.
Lately, ED has fueled the "astronaut/physicist/explorer" in me. I'm reading a lot more about space, something i stopped doing a long time ago (e.g. "A brief history of time" by Stephen Hawking. Awesome stuff). For those interested in animes i'm also watching "Space Brothers", a tale where two brothers walk their way to be astronauts (There is no fiction here, the series tend to follow reality the best they can. Highly recommended IMHO).
Anyway, I wanted to share some info I stumbled upon in my searches. It seems NASA is very close to understand how FTL travels can be done. I didn't watch the whole thing yet (1h), but it seems this Dr. White has successfully proven that faster than light travel might just be possible.
I dunno if you guys knew anything about this but I decided to post it here anyway.

People can call us naives or a romantics. I don't care. Centuries ago, the truth was that Earth was flat and that dogma was crushed by an evergrowing flexible science leaded by people with dreams. We fly, because we have that dream. I really hope to see this dream come true. Even better, I loved to live that dream myself. And i'm sure many of you would love it too. Anyway, ain't this good news???
