Hello Commanders!
Since there where more topics around for people run out of fuel i made some calculations with my Eagle which i want to post here.
Ship: Eagle
FSD Drive: C3
Fuel Tank: 4 tons
Fuel Cells: 11
Fuel Cell Range: 6LY
Total Fuel Range: 66LY
Please note that there is a half fuel cell which i didn't count. It will give you 3LY more in range, but i am deciding to leave this as a reserve during the SC.
This is an Eagle with the loaned FSD drive fitted. Currently i do not have money or any reason to fit the best one, so if someone have it he can made the calculations an send them to me so i can update post.
I am not sure if FSD class/grade have any affiliation with the fuel consumption, but at the moment i am assuming that it does.
I also do not have access to other ships, so anyone who wants to do the small math and post it here - you are welcome.
With the above information you will know how much you can travel with your ship before running out of fuel and if you use the route planner and always leave enough fuel to jump back.
