First off, let me make it clear. I am NOT, nor have I ever been, a member of the Fuel Rats. I am a proud member of Canonn.

That said, I think that not enough accolade has been placed on the Fuel rats and the invaluable service they offer to this game.
I have been playing since release, and consider my self fairly experienced, and have not needed the service of the Fuel Rats... until yesterday.

I took my Fleet carrier down to Kyli Flyuae AA-A h4 with a fellow Cannoneer and I made a stupid mistake. I miss calculated the fuel need of the FC. Long story short: We ended up at the system 496 LY from the nearest, with only fuel for 206 LY.

My first instinct was to post a ticket to Frontier Support... in the middle of the night, so any reply wouldn't be coming until the morning, so i though "why not?"

I contacted the Fuel Rats to hear if they could assist. From the very first contact they were all business, curtious, and VERY helpful. Within moments a Fuel rat was on his way to help me out.
In under 4 hours a Fuel rat had delivered 250 tons of tritium to my FC. Now THAT is service!

I cannot emphasize this enough. The Fuel Rats are ESSENTIAL to to the game, and Frontier should bestow them with ANYTHING they request. Be it a home system, decals, Fuel rat paint scheme.. what ever.

Thank you Fuel Rats. Your guys are awesome.

Yeah, the Fuel Rats are a good bunch, dug me out of a hole or 2 over the years.

I don't get this, you screwed up, why is your first instinct to go begging to Support?

I can also attest to the fact that the Fuel Rats are a life saver as well! Was doing a passenger mission a while back taking over five hours to do. Somewhere along the way I hit a pocket of stars I couldn't get any fuel from, and as tired as I was getting at that point I did look at the galaxy map to find fuel close by, no such luck.

Shutting down what systems I didnt need running and seeing I had a lot of time on oxygen I called the Fuel Rats myself, about 15 minutes later refueled powering systems back up and on my way home!

FUEL RATS you deserve every recogniztion owed to you for your service to the community at large, THANK YOU!
