Fuel scoop question

From what I understand, your Super Cruise fuel comes from your jump drive fuel tank. So, when your Super Cruise fuel runs out, fuel is diverted from the Hyperdrive tank to your Super Cruise tank and it fills back up.
So, as long as you fill up your main tank (hyperdrive tank), your Super Cruise tank will have fuel.
Am I right about that anyone?

You can watch when your SC fuel runs out to see just how much it takes from the main tank. Nothing much in a Cobra, but you can notice it with a smaller main tank.
EDIT as a PS, that's not just SC fuel, but also used to power everything on the ship, from weapons to life support. Just to clear up any confusion - basically you will use fuel in the reserve constantly while the ship has any sort of power demand at all.
