I installed a fuel scoop to my adder and I decided to test it out. I flew to the local star and it said that my fuel scoop was active. After it said that the fuel scoop was complete, it seemed as if my fuel didn't increase. Did I do something wrong?

When it says 'Fiel Scoop Active' it puts two meters on your HUG|D: A bar for your empterature, and a pulsing line above a second bar for your fuel. The second bar will slowly fill until the tank is full. When the tank is full you'll hear a loud drumbeat noise.
It will also say 'fuel scooping complete' when you move out of range. Likely, you flew away from the star again and it stopped scooping because you were too far away.
