Butt, am I just a bafoon?? , or is fuel scooping without orbit lines.,,

The rate at which you fuel scoop isnt dependent on your speed in supercruise (just distance and direction), so find a good spot and throttle back to 30km/s

No more difficult that using the orbit lines, fly with the star overhead and keep the edge at the top of the screen, exactly where on the screen for maximum efficiency will depend on which ship you are in and how much overhead vision it has.

Not sure why people find scooping difficult?
