Newcomer / Intro fuel scoops

i want to go exploring so need a fuel scoop and d-scan, what would be the best thing to replace in order to have the fuel scoop attached?

That depends what your current loadout is!

Fuel scoop and discovery scanner both take up internal slots - like cargo bays and shields - can you live without a cargo bay for a while?

If you're ballsy you could replace your shield generator... But probably not recommended, so yeah. Cargo hold.

As Beld Stated it is best to wait until you upgrade your Ship. If you notice when you look at the shipyard you will see what comes with the new ship. some have 2 or more cargo slots. just remove them both and put in a scanner and fuel scoop. Fist you need to make the 100k for a good ship and systems
