Fuel - (Sorry if this is posted elsewhere)

There is what I believe a fuel gauge below the scanner, which just shows an empty bar and serves no game mechanical purpose yet. Also keep in mind that the DDF proposal is not the final one, in later posts they stated that instead of the "full unit" approach where adding a single drop lower quality fuel would "spoil" the entire tank, that will instead result in a mixture calculated from the individual qualities and fuel amounts.
 
yeah that DDF is HUGE on fuel..I usually can make it through the posts but not for that topic lol...sparked a pretty "heated" debate... <-- wow ;)

I think the three major points of interest were how much fuel hyperspace jumps versus supercruising would take up, on the "reserve" like fuel tank concept and also concerning mixing fuel types and the effect on the overall fuel (degrading the fuel type to the lowest common denominator or the game calculating the mix of the two fuel types)..

It will be interesting to see how FD goes about implementing it.

Isnt that gauge the scanner zoom level?
