-one internal module that is basically a 'compressed' fuel storage (1:10 or so) so that harvesting fuel can become big business, this would also be required because the fuel is so cheap

I really like the idea of being able o sell the fuel that you have scooped off a star, it adds another role to the game that will be accessible for brand new beginners and should scale up to larger ships fairly well. Of course you will also get pirates hanging around stars waiting for that big ship to fill to be pillaged!

The more roles that you have in this game the better in my opinion!
