Fuel usage monitor gone.

I don't think so, since it disappeared for me too. Fuel bar is there, scooping and usage work normally, but the number indicating my hourly fuel burn rate is gone. Maybe a coding typo has made it NaN and it's just not displaying.

I noticed pre 1.1 that it would show one rate while looking at the console (4), and another when facing forward. I won't miss it.

I disagree. On a small ship you may find you need to know how much fuel you have left for a particular journey in SC. Why it's been removed, I don't know.

How was it useful? It was a number per hour. A number of what? Tons? Then fuel scoop made no sense, since I could do hundred's per second. The fuel usage UI was just wasted space without a form of measurement.

Fuel usage was in Tons per hour, scoopung is in kg per second. Where is the Problem?

Anyways, i want it back, too. It was nice to know how long the rest in the reservoir will last atm.

Hmm... until I saw this post I hadn't even noticed it was gone. Personally, I'm not that worried about it one way or the other.

Not bothered about the fuel rate figure, but do miss having the little blue flash hammering across the fuel gauge when scooping. It's still there but only appears about every five seconds, or more.

I think they realised their maths was wrong and rather than fix it they removed it. When you compared fuel usage in say a Python to an Asp it just didn't add up for refuelling costs.

That useful fuel flowmeter told me how many modules I had to shut down to sustain functionality with my turrets deployed over night at a NAV beacon with a 1ton golden bait in my cargo hold.

Now it is guessing time :(
