Oh, and if I pay a bounty at an IF on foot, the bounty never disappears in my ship panel until I relog.

Either way, you won't disappear off the station news most wanted list until someone else commits a crime with that faction and updates it, no matter how you pay it off.

Yes, don't get a bounty if doing undercover bgs work.. ;)

Ok. Note though that I absolutely had to relog TWICE in this case. A few years back I also had to relog to pay something at a Factor so while sitting at the station at BD+24 2539 I quit to the main menu and entered again (I didn't quit to desktop). After that process the bounty was still listed.

Later I quit out to desktop and waited a while before logging in again - that's when the bounty got cleared.
