I've gone from practically unplayable due to terrible FPS and constant crashing to mostly stable with passable FPS in stations (GTX1060 6GB 1440x3440) by simply changing from Borderless mode to Full Screen. A bit of a pain as going to my second monitor causes the game to minimise but at least I can play the game.
In Horizons I had been getting reasonably regular crashes to the point I though there was something wrong with my GPU and had starting underclocking it even though every stress test I threw at it was fine. Now I am playing with the highest manufacturer preset OC.
