Full zoo space park free roam for animals (sandbox)

Please please please give us the ability to put any animals into the entire zoo space without the need to have a habitat so that we can watch them roam freely around everywhere. (Like a Kruga National Park)
We've tried putting a habitat edge around the whole space but it kills the program.

I myself just starting trying the latter of what you mentioned. In sandbox mode I made a habitat that took up the majority of the map. Made it walk through so that guests could also experience it, with the guests fleeing options turned off of course. All welfare and everything turned off so I don't have to worry about taking care of anything. I've got less than 40 animals, have barely terraformed and don't have that much actually in the "habitat" as yet, trees/nature wise, and the game is already badly lagging.

Now, I could have set my sights too big and may just try to redo this on a smaller scale, but it's a nice thought.

I can appreciate the thought and concept, but this game is Planet Zoo. Kruger National Park is not a zoo, ergo the game is not designed to replicate such a setup.

That's too much processing of space for pretty much any computer. It has to calculate all the terrain in a habitat for various factors and this game tends to lag when anything gets too large or complex.
