I walked by my 10 year old son's computer the other day and was surprised to see him flying around a little spaceship that looked like a sidewinder. He landed on a planet, started shooting aliens, then went to a space bank and robbed it and landed on a station to upgrade his weapons on his ship and take missions. It turns out there is a fast paced little multiplayer game on ROBLOX called "space fronter" - I've played it for a number of hours already and it's quite fun. You can also shoot asteroids, capture planets, fight other players on ground or in space....and that is about it, the game is kinda small, but is crazily fast paced (really reminds you how much time it takes us to do stuff in Elite) and is a lot of fun - try it out!
