PvP Fun PvP "game" for all player levels - the Progression of Sidewinder

A few nights some commanders and I came up with what we thought was a hugely fun little game. The rules are simple, you want 3+ commanders (the more the better)

- Go to a station with good outfitting
- Buy a stock Sidewinder (or Eagle, Hauler, Adder, etc)
- Deathmatch combat just outside the station (don't worry about the no-fire zone, just don't shoot the station or an NPC)
- Each time you die you get to upgrade or change 1 module (you can remove anything at any time)

That's all there is to it - it's great as everyone is on the same playing field, sorta like CQC but you're free to upgrade anything you'd like vs. unlocking loadouts. It's really interesting to see the strategy that you and others use - what do you do first? Weapons? Shields? Hull? The biggest negative is the time it takes to respawn/outfit which is why it's far more fun with 5+ (8+ is sorta the sweet spot for non-stop fighting).

How do you win? 2 ways
- The least valuable ship at the end wins (or the least number of non-stock modules)
- You had fun, everyone wins!

No that could possibly be competitive and would require skill that's not what the pvp crowd is after.
True pvp is blasting away that unarmed t9 with your exploit corvette that's where it's at.
Sigh...
