Fun Water Barrier

I created this .. gorge .. like area, and putting habitats around it, I came up with this solution, thought it looked cool so i'd share. Essentially the animals (baby wolves in this case) can't squeeze through the rocks :D

In this case, @Dr4gon, he's showing us the traverse-able heat map for an animal that can swim. What they can't do is squeeze between the vertical rock pillars while swimming. Pretty slick solution, though I'm not sure I'd trust it. That heat map is notoriously mistaken when it comes to where the little critters end up actually being able to squeeze.

Here's a wider shot with the barrier selected. This is still a work in progress, though the "water barrier" works perfectly sofar. I had 5 baby wolves unable to escape. Im betting snow leapords would find a way tho :D

and the full habitat. again, very work in progress still :D

the guests don't love it sofar >.< .. they are pretty far away for the most part, i have to work on that.

Neat solution, indeed.
Geeksim created a "water barrier" with hanging chains which seem to work as well.
Hanging ropes do hold back animals too, so a nice, impassable "curtain" can be created (visitors don't mind it!). (Idea by Mike Sheets)

One thing though:
I am wondering, if you won't get false escaping alarms, as your "Null fence" is in front of the impassable terrain (the rocks). When I look at your second post, there do seem to be little places, where animals might go that are behind the virtual fence.
It really doesn't matter, where to put he fence. Personally, I would move it a little bit back, just to be on the save side.
