Yes... The game sucks now. I'm very disappointed. Don't care about 2.2 - 2.3 - 2.4 or even what ever comes next. I don't know what the player base used to be, but the numbers can't be impressive at all. The die hard players will keep going, but those who don't have all year to grind will surely move to another game soon if they haven't already.

I laughed. The Hitler joke is a bit old but it still works. But indeed the video gives a rather good overview of what many players object to in The Engineers.

After receiving the very disappointing newsletter that basically glosses over the problems just like FDEV did with Powerplay at the time, I now feel very much like the final minute of the video: resignation. I realised this game is not going to be what I believed in. The foundations of the game built by the graphics, sound, flight dynamics and other teams offer huge potential but the team responsible for developing the gameplay is not up to the task. Pity.

Player base is very healthy at the moment. Thin again.

No it does not sum up the game , but it does sum up a part of the community.
They think they are some genral or man/women with unlimited resorce and that every NPC is a minion to them , so they expect the engineers to work for free.
