Horizons Furthest Distances Club(s) (not refering to the 65,000 LY club) thread

I looked and I didn't see any big threads on this. I did see some mentions but no threads for it.

Obviously we have the 65,000LY club. We also have the SAG A club(s). However I don't see that we have a club for the furthest North, South, East and West club(s). So how about it let's see whats the furthest on the galactic plane for true North, South, East and West. Keep in Mind Galactically Orion is True East (not really interested in debating that either. Send me a PM to ask me why I said Orion is True East in space).

Some rules. All points are to be distances from SOL. You must have photo(s) to prove your claim(s) that show your CMDR name and distance from SOL in the same Picture (basically target SOL from where you are as if you were going to jump from current location to SOL and have your CMDR looking at the panel with your CMDR name on it). There are 7 categories. North, South, East, West, Straight up from Sag A, Straight down from Sag A, Furthest possible from SOL. Anyone can enter into any of these categories. This is not including NW, NE, SE, SW. if anyone is interested in helping maintain this thread feel free to message me and we can talk about it :D.

Got any other ideas? Think this can work? Let's chat about it.

If you want to know the furthest on the galactic plane for true North, South and so on, why not measure it from Sag A*? It seems a lot more accurate to me

All the galaxy cardinal points, either in distance from Sol or in distance from Sag A, have already been achieved, particularly by a CMDR named Allitnil. They are achieved either in maximum distance, with some angular deviation from the axe, or straight in the axe. They have been achieved with superengineered and stripped down condas (sometimes even without DSS to have more range), and lvl 3 jumponium boosts. Same goes for maximum distance up and down the glactic plane, either from Sol or Sag.

OFC the fact that all these further distance systems are already tagged and submitted to EDSM doesn't mean you can't do a "Club" for them. I've been the first 65K club curator, and i can suggest you a procedure to make these clubs lists thread in an accepted way.

1) Good place is the exploration subforum
2) Make an investigation of CMDRs that have already been there (they are quite many) spot the exact further extreme systems listening to their tales, figure out the exact time order in wich they have already discovered those systems, and start the list. OFC if you want to be the curator you have to go there yourself and, inspecting the tags, look for CMDRs that have already been there but don't play anymore.
3) Make rules to continue the lists (screenshot prooves with timestamps mainly)

Hope this helps!

EDIT: a note, the maximum distance from Sol is already curated in the 65K Club, in fact the maximum distance from Sol is quite near Beagle Point, and with current FSD tech (mods, neutron boosts and jumponium included) it's not possible to reach the 66K.

About that 66K not being able to be achieved. I am not so sure that is true. It could be. However this is why, The maximum distance the conda can jump with no engineer and no super charge and no lvl 3 syth is 39.81LY, unless coriolis is wrong!? If you add the engineering which as far as we know is a +70% per jump maximum you get 67.677LY, that is a permanent maximum until they change something or add new things like a new ship that can do further or whatever. If you add the +100% 1 time boost syth its well 135.354LY than if you add the super charge which acts and stacks with a syth you add 100% to that you get 270.708LY maximum. That is a huge distance. The only thing I don't know is if you can store these stackables (the syth and the super charge) for a rainy day. Because I have no idea if there is a neutron star over at beagle or not. However if there is and if there is another beyond that point, or if you can store them for a rainy day. Than it's entirely possible out there to break the 66K maybe even the 67K distance. Definitely not the 68K though..... My question for you is how is it that you know that this guy Allitnil has done it... is this you?
