General Gameplay Future DLC- Primal Instincts-Science Division

Your Feature Request / Idea
The Science division feels that something still feels off about some of the dinosaurs behaviours. More genetic testing has been done, with a focus an the Dinosaurs "Flight of Fight" part of their natural instincts.

Dinosaurs would start to act more naturally to different tiers.

The largest change would be a Seperation between the Large Canivores. The truely Large Apex Predators would be in Tier 1 along with the Armored Herbivores.
Tier 2 Would be comprised of all the Medium sized Carnivores that can and usual will hunt together as a pair, but will not tollerate other members of this tier as direct competition. They would also actively hunt the smaller, tier 3 carnivores, but would naturally be inclined towards a 50/50 chance of fleeing from the the Tier 1 carnivores. Hunting behaviour towards Armored dinosaurs would also be more varried. If the hunt starts to go south, again the flight or fight instincts may prompt a Carno from running from a Trike that was clearly winning the fight. Predators naturally prefer to live to see another day and give up on a meal that they cant kill.

Ofcourse, genetic modification, such as Agressive Instincts and Learning behaviours could alter the 50/50 set precurser to the instinct. A more agressive individual may have a 80/20 chance of staying in a fight, while a more docile creature may have a 40/60 chance of staying in a fight it might loose, prefering to lick its wounds.

Speaking of wounds.

Wounded animals become targets to other carnivores, including members of their own species that previously got a long. Larger and smaller carnivores would try to take advantage of a wounded animal.

Lastly, the genetic research would also uncover the Pack Hunter genetic component for the smaller predators. The strength and agressive nature of the Alpha would determine if the Tier 3 dinosaurs are more likely to actively attack Tier 2 or 1 animals. Strength in numbers would boost the odds for the Alphas, but the Alpha would also be the deciding factor in the pack fleeing or fighting. If an Alpha remains in the fight, and dies, the rest of the pack would panic and flee, possibly resulting in deadly infighting to determine the next pack leader...resulting in injuries that may attract other carnivores.
