Future Features Wishlist – What Would You Love to See in Planet Coaster 2 ?

Hello to the entire development team,

I’ve been a big fan of the Planet Coaster franchise ever since the very first alpha of the original game. I’ve followed its evolution with great interest, and I want to sincerely thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into it over the years.
Planet Coaster 2 is already an excellent game, and the various updates have clearly shown your commitment to listening to the community and continuously improving the overall experience. The post-launch support has been outstanding, and as a player, I really appreciate that.
That being said, I believe there’s still room to go even further and make the game even richer and more immersive. That’s why I’d like to share a few suggestions for features I’d love to see in future updates or expansions. And of course, I warmly invite other community members to share their own ideas in this thread !

My Suggestions:
  • Integrated Parking Lots
It would be great to have dedicated assets for creating parking lots, along with a variety of vehicles (different shapes, sizes, colors, and styles). Right now, we have to get creative and repurpose other objects to build realistic parking areas, which can be time-consuming. Built-in tools would make this process much smoother and more immersive.
  • The Return of Hotels – But More Advanced
Hotels were already present in the first game, and I’d love to see them return in Planet Coaster 2, but in a deeper and more refined way. Just like the new shops and restaurants (which are fantastic now), hotels could offer more customization, better gameplay integration, and become a meaningful part of park management and guest experience.
  • Improved Color Management
It would be very useful to create and save custom color palettes that the game remembers even after restarting. Currently, saved colors are lost each time the game is closed, which is quite frustrating—especially when trying to maintain visual consistency across builds.
  • A Color Picker Tool
To complement the new color system, a simple eyedropper tool would be incredibly helpful. It would allow players to instantly grab the color code from any object in the park and apply it elsewhere—perfect for maintaining visual harmony without trial and error.
  • Advanced Gizmo Improvements
The advanced move tool could really benefit from a bit more flexibility. Often, the gizmo is not aligned with the desired axis. Being able to reset or reposition it freely around the object would open up more creative possibilities. Also, certain objects like benches and bins can’t be moved directly using the advanced tool, which can be a bit annoying when trying to fine-tune details.

I’ll keep this list updated as new ideas come to mind.
