Future "Gold rushes"? - Vitadine Speculation

We all by now know of the Void Opal gold rush, or in fact the high sell price of all the deep core commodities from mining. this will at some point end, but what else will take it's place?


As some mere speculation, I have noticed this whole Vitadine Labs' Nanomed story has been pumped up for a long while, even this week's CG is covering the narrative. It is likely sometime soon we will see this added as a new rare commodity.

But, will the hype be the same? this Revolutionary medicine has been anticipated by the narrative for some time. surely it is met with the same approach as Void Opals, excessively high prices for a short while until the hype quiets down?

Just speculation, but it would be interesting if such an event occurred.

While I generally agree Galnet stories should have more connections to ingame events, sadly until now there aren't many.
Or how many Galnet stories have you read about void opals?

And the mining rush hasn't finished and propably won't, considering even with the "lesser" mining commodities you can make quite a nice sum.

But as said, I'm all for more Connection from Galnet to ingame...
