Future releases: feedback

Hello.

Story time!

So here I'm sitting at my kitchen table, enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee, on a cold Saturday morning in my corner of Canada.

Then I got to thinking, "Gee, I'd love to be playing JWE2". Unfortunately, it's not meant to be. Frontier decided on releasing this game on.... drumroll Tuesday. A Tuesday... ok.

My wife is thoroughly amused, using phrases such as "poor baby" and "aw muffin". So here I am, all worked up, taking my gripes to the forums for an issue so minor it hardly seems worth the calories to waste on typing - like an adult. I feel like I could have been playing JWE2 this weekend, but no. And now my wife has created a nice long honey-do list loaded with things "to keep (me) busy" instead.

So my feedback is this:

Frontier, I would like to see products, updates, and patches on Fridays. Pretty please. I totally get the fact that you guys want to enjoy your weekends too and I'm not saying you should come in to work to monitor the release during your off time. Any bugs that come up - I'll deal with them.

Thanks.

And now off to do some chores.

I would love Friday patches to you “poor baby”

The industry standard is for all software, including most video games, to be released on Tuesdays so that they can patch things up prior to the weekend if need be. It's been like this for decades and is unlikely to ever change.
