Word, I spent hours getting stuff for a Lance pulse loadout and was disappointed.
They are solid but you need a huge and 2 meds (efficient) to match the single huge beam.
By my maths that's 2 wasted hardpoints.
I always end up going back to my trusty huge efficient beam with thermal vent.

Curious, I use rapid fire Pulse lasers and rapid fire MCs and can fire continously without ever over heating. Certainly will the lasers. The MCs not so much but they are just to finish off the hull
The best part is that they run with only 2 pips... :O:O
