Been doing some trading out v1688 Aquilae way in an old beat up hauler. I decided to take a truce over to Lave and chuck some money into rares. Travel the 100+lys to get there. Load up 16 tonnes of the good stuff leaving me with 10k in the bank.
My plan was to head over to wolf 1301 about 180ly away to sell up and re stock there for the return journey.
Turns out it's pretty deep space out there and 2 jumps from wolf I know I've not got the fuel. Up comes the Galaxy map for a system close by with a station. Nothing doing. The nearest one is 2 jumps and 6-7lys away.
I made it as far as I could and ran out of juice.
Absolutely furious with myself. After buy back I've got about 2.5k and its spawned me 100lys from both Lave and Wolf 1301.
Back to trading for a while.
There was one upside. I found a planet discovered by Arnold J Rimer!
