Engineers Gaining engineer reputation with rare goods

Just tried this method to rank up Marco Qwent using the Lave Cluster (about 80-90 cargo) gained about 1mill. in profit and did not rank up from Grade 2, don't think I gained anything from this. Just curious if the latest patch may of broken it?

That would be a pity.

I might knock one of the weapon engineers down to grade 1 on the weekend and test it.

I was just about to add the new rare good, Shan's Charis Orchid, to Tiana Fortune's list of rares. If taking rare flowers to the girl engineers doesn't increase your reputation, nothing will.

sometimes log-off log-in is needed, reputation gain via profit doesn't work relieable instantly (but it does work).

Just to update I had relogged many times and waited half-hour before posting to see no change. But now the server background tick has happened I gained 4% for my efforts.

Unfortunately in the first table is an error between the Distance of Wulpa and Helvetitj. The distance is actually

Hey, I was only 275ly out with the coordinates of Helvetitj [noob].

Best way to rep Engineers is just make upgrades at their bases. You can't skip the grades on a module anymore so just the process of doing a module will max your rep. Most of the engys have something you'll want to G5 anyway. For the ones that don't just mod something for fun or with mats you won't miss.

Not completely so. I just unlocked Farseer in Deciat and gave her about 7 mil in explo data. I instantly got level 4 access
