Things are looking ripe for a succession war.

why is it a silly Question? The empire following the death of the emperor will no doubt be slightly shaken if not even weakened. As pnptcn said there could be a succession war, as factions within the empire attempted power grabs in following weeks.It could also be an opportunity for systems on the edge of the empire to make moves toward independence. Now would be the time to strike or make moves as the empire would be distracted.
