Anyone else notice that the Feds are now Red, or is it just me? Or have I really just not noticed before....

A little irritating either way, I always think of the empire as Red (Evil) and Feds Blue (good)...

I think they also changed the colors of the trade commodities to match the colors of the economy type on the filters, so overall it seems they've made a pass to make the color scheme more consistent and logical.

About time they changed that...it has been the wrong way around the whole time. The Federation have always had a redish/orange colorscheme applied to them and the Empire a blue/white one. Finally the map matches their style.

Just noticed this myself. I had no idea their colours were supposed to be inverted. Why weren't they like that from the start? Feels a bit weird now...

The colours match the colours the factions use for their Orbis stations.

Empire have blue stations, Federation red and Alliance green. Neutrals didn't colour theirs, but yellow is a fourth colour that doesn't get lost like grey.

I prefer it this way (so the collars of the galaxy map match the cuffs of the stations ;)), even though I'm used to it being backwards. :p
