This turn the looming and disastrous expansion of Chnumar was our greatest concern.
We started off the week working on having it opposed and while we did get the opposition to 273% this was not sufficient to beat out what would eventually become a 1414% expansion.
Next we changed tack and focused on keeping our power in turmoil another week in order to cancel Chnumar.
The 5C efforts countered this by racing to fortify every single one of our systems and pushing us into a healthy CC surplus. Left unchecked this would allow Chnumar to go through.
We fought back by undermining over 25 of our own systems in order to get back into negative CC.
We rode the fine line between going into in turmoil and gaining our expansions.
As a result Chnumar (and Madngela) were cancelled and lost but because we also lost Conii (our turmoil system from last turn) we start this turn not in turmoil and yet without Chnumar.
