Horizons Galadrius Trovell got gud at combat ranking

(This might well be common, but never noticed it before).

So. I'm doing a mission for my faction, supporting them in a system takeover bid.
Nothing fancy. Deliver a few tons of clothing to a system just over 100Ly away (6 jumps for my Python).

Just after undocking I get a message from dispatch. An agent is after my clothes - one Galadrius Trovell, must be feeling the cold or something I guess.
And not even enough assets to buy them. Life is hard for a pirate - poor soul.

On the second jump he insta-interdicts me as I enter the system.
How he had time to find me, track me, get behind me, avoid melting in the star and complete an interdiction before I had even completed my hyper jump makes me wonder a bit.
Never mind, I check him out. A Master in a fairly ordinary Python. Although my ship is Engineered, I can't be bothered and high wake out.

Out of habit I then jump a couple of times in a random direction, not towards my destination.
Imagine my surprise when Galadrius Trovell is waiting for me in his Python. He is still freezing and wants all my clothing. How did he get to a random location before me? Makes me wonder a lot.
Casually I check him out again. Wait. He's rated Deadly now! Respect. It took me a few months to go Master-Dangerous-Deadly. Maybe I just had too many clothes on.

I jump out, travel to the destination and hand in the clothes, collecting my fee (and a chunk of negative rep for the major faction my faction is aligned to in the bargain - makes me wonder).

There are just so many errors in the game. Almost all the basic building blocks are broken.
I have got to the stage where I don't care anymore that nothing works. All I can do is laugh.

This isn't actually a bug, per se. NPC's are not actually persistent. The game simply creates the illusion of persistence by spawning another NPC with the same name. Othher details are not always preserved, unfortunately

I know, and agree.
But saying there are errors with the game is not the same as saying they are bugs. ;)

EDIT: But Galadrius had the same ship with the same loadout, so the illusion is pretty convincing.

Yeah, it seems to be getting closer to at least a temporary form of persistence. Just not quite there yet. I do think it's being worked on, as it seems to be improved of late.
