Galaxy map bookmarks style

Hi, FDEV!

I have new imrovement idea for game based on my trouble. It's not too much, but it will increase many commanders quality of life.

Traveling the Bubble and around few month i saved up a lot of bookmarks. Interesting places, mining sites, battle zones and so on... And it looks like a big blue cloud. But i have trouble when I want estimate my route, for example, using neutron highway i marked. It is also blue somewhere in this "blue cloud"...

Please, make player able:
1) to pick color (and maybe icon) for bookmarks
2) to group bookmarks in folders at left pannel
3) to turn on and off folders, and single bookmarks as well (similar to global signs)

Please make this in upcoming patch or fixes. I think it will not interact with ingame world but it will make explorers and travelers life easier!

If you use forum search, type 'Bookmark' and choose 'this forum' then you can see all the previous threads with this theme

I would not be surprised if it was not part of one of the 'newcomers' patches this year as it's a common request - though personally I think any time you get to more than 10 bookmarks you're doing it wrong

There is also apparently an upper limit to the number of bookmarks. I seem to have hit it and started to move the bookmarks of interesting places and ELWs I've found to EDDiscovery instead, leaving the game bookmarks for marking things I need to go to.

Maybe, exporting bookmarks out of the game is a solution. But i prefer to hold everything at in-game map for cases when I pass by interesting places, i can visit it.

I've found situations when moving straight to target system can be not rational. It can be better to move in opposite direction, to neutron star and then do an x4 boost jump (or do it twice). But it's hard to estimate visualy if you hold a lot of bookmarks without possibility to color it, or turn them off in part...

I think it's very simple feature, but why not to involve this into the game?
