Galaxy Map bug

Before I launch a ticket, has anyone else already reported the issues with the Galaxy Map?

Apparently no choice BUT to have either Economic or Fastest Route checked. Automatic re-calculation of a chosen route if you uncheck the box?

I have no wish to be blinded by countless bloody lines showing me every route option.

Or is this how we Explorers have to roll now?

and can I change the clock to BST?

I just checked, and it works exactly like it did in 2.0 for me; I can check or uncheck any of the 3 plotting options - switching between economical and fastest automatically replots and turning all of the plotting options off gets rid of the plot lines.

Apparently you can't check the clock, it shows game time and that's that.

True - but for me if I check fastest and uncheck (so nothing is checked) it keeps the fastest route and hides the spider web - but if I then exit and re-enter instead of leaving it as it was it re-checks economical *and* recalculates the route to match.

I usually leave the lines on, but I'm sure that's a change from the last time I left them off for a while.

Same for me, the route plotting is still semi-broken just as it was in Beta, would be nightmare trying to use it anywhere near the core, was going to report it tomorrow if nobody else has.

System map doesn't remember the tab you had open, either. Wasn't that specifically called out in one of the patch notes as being fixed?

My tests :
1. Last tab selected NOT remembered
2. If you uncheck all boxes(regarding route type) it comes back on economic
Side effect : Route recalculates as map reverts to Economical
3. If you choose fastest, it does remember
4. The route plotter still fails miserably when there is a route but height is involved
e.g. on my way to Beagle Point I tried setting route to BP from 500 LYs out, and 1000 and 250, whilst I was at a height 135 LYs above BP's plane, and it failed. This has happened elsewhere too.
5. Info box in SYS map obscures planets, still !
6. Option to delete route needed when you are not focused on destination. Currently you have to select one of the route's waypoints, select route calculation to there, then cancel
Solution : add a cancel route option to your current location in Gal map
7. If you bookmark a system and that system already has a marker, like your ship, engineer, CG etc. the bookmark icon is missing.
Sending bug report now :)

Thanks Dognosh,

Have just upgraded and plotted my next route towards BP and thought "What the ...!?"

Regardless of what I selected it kept changing and reverting back to Eco.
