Galaxy Map - Can't select systems

Hi, been away for awhile and just getting back into ED. I'm thinking either I'm missing something, or the map has changed. I used to be able to move close to a system star, then move around so I could select it. Now, there appears to be no way to do this. The "stalk" to select a star never appears no matter what I do.

Are you still having this problem. You don't give much information about your equipment and how you usually navigate the galaxy map.

Thanks for replying, turns out the show grid checkbox got unticked somehow. All good now. So many settings...!
